That saddens me greatly. But it doesn't change my wish for him to have a happy birthday. Only now I will be sure to do so as a remembrance and tribute, rather than hoping he's eating cake. Or perhaps he IS eating cake, and he's having a blast. I wouldn't know, I haven't gotten there yet,
